My cat has a tough time eating or grooming--his mouth seems tender. What could be wrong?

Signs of oral pain in your kitty is a strong indication your pet has a major problem or problems going on in his mouth.  These problems include gingivitis, tartar, abscessed teeth, fractured teeth, and dental enamel neck lesions.  These problems are all very painful, but easily treatable.

Any pet showing signs of oral pain should be examined as soon as possible by one of the staff doctors at Windmill Animal Hospital, so that pet can be promptly relieved of his suffering and allowed to eat and groom normally.
